A Little History

Diane Schaffer started Sewlutions in 1989 as a seamstress designing and sewing bridal, formal and sports wear. Having to wait for out-sourced embroidery work didn’t always fit her time lines so in 1991 she introduced the first embroidery machine into the shop.

By 1995 the number of machines had increased to 5 and digitizing was now part of the scene.

In 1998 more machine were added, the staff grew to 11, and days of operation became 24/5.

In 2004 Diane became manager of Sunwest Embroidery, Calgary.

In 2005 Diane moved on to The Logo Shop which did embroidery and screen printing, and were she learned the techniques in the art of screen printing.

In December of 2006 Diane moved back to Saskatchewan, and once again started Sewlutions, offering embroidery – at the best it could be.

2009 saw the purchase of Milo Monograms in Kindersley, Saskatchewan. Diane along with Monty, newly acquired partner, formed the present company Sewlutions MD Inc.
